ART RAiNBOW PROJECT とは

プロジェクトのはじまりは、2004 年ドイツテーテロー市に在する「ドイツ・日本協会」の両国文化交流の促進を目的とするプログラムを起源とします。

日独両サイド交流の具体的な始まりは、ドイツ側から依頼を受けた日本側パートナーの特定法人京都藝際交流協会が推薦した4名の京都出身若手芸術家がテテロー市に滞在制作したことに遡ります。翌2005年、同プロジェクトに石の彫刻作家3名が招待されました。
このような活動経緯を経て 2006年4月[独日協会]のロストック本部総裁クリンクマン博士、特定法人京都藝際交流協会理事長石田淨との間で正式に芸術家交換交流合意締結書が交わされたこと
を起源とします。
第1回~第2回までのプロジェクト名を「プレンエアー」と呼称します。第 3 回は、新総裁ヨハネス・クンツエ氏の体制下で新たなプロジェクト「アートレインボー」の実施が決定されました。
具体的には、2007 年日本側が選考推薦する作家の作品をロストック市立美術館で展示開催するという内容でした。36名の作家とオブザーバーが参加。展覧会は1日600人を越す入場者を迎える大成功でした。

こうしてドイツと日本に架けられた芸術の虹の橋を行き来する両国交換交流プロジェクトが始まりました。名付けて「アートレインボープロジェクト」。

今年は、日本での開催となりました。開催期間中 6 名の作家が各自の制作過程を公開します。乞う!ご来場。

The beginning of the project originated from a program aimed at promoting cultural exchanges between the two countries established in the German-Japanese Association in Teterower, Germany.

The concrete start of the exchanges between Japan and Germany goes back to the fact that four young artists from Kyoto, recommended by Japanese partner Kyoto Society for Inter-Art Exchange, received a request from the German side for a stay in Tetero. The 1st and the 2nd Project name was "Plenair".
In the third round, we decided to implement a new project "Art Rainbow" under the framework of Mr. Johannes Kunzue. Specifically, the contents were that the works of the artists recommended by the Japanese side were exhibited at Rostock Municipal Museum of Art in 2007. 36 artists and observers participated. The exhibition was a huge success with more than 600 visitors a day. In this way, a bilateral exchange project between Germany and Japan began.

This year it will be held in Japan. During the event, open studio and exhibition, 6 artists will share the same workplace and exhibit the creation process result. Come on!
